1m90 bin ich mir definitiv nicht sicher, dass es passt., kommt drauf wie die Verteilung Bein/Rumpf bei dir ist.
Ich bin 1m83 & Breit, im ND sind die nötigen cm für mich da, die im NC fehlten.
Im US Forum hat ein Belgier mit 1m86 einen blinden Kauftrag aufgegeben,
mit dem Vermerk, dass er den Vertrag kündigen könnte , wer er sich nicht wohl fühlt.
Er durfte den ND letzten Donnerstag testen, er passt rein, aber viel grösser hätte er nicht sein dürfen.
In den 3 anderen MX-5 Generationen hatte er kein Platz.
Im aktuellen Z4 , passen grössere Menschen auch.
Ist jedoch nicht so einfach , aus dem aktuellen Z4 Ein&Aussteigen bei geschlossenem Dach.
Man sitz im Z4 sehr tief.

Conclusion: 9/10 ![]()
the negatives (short):
- limited trunk space and interior space for storage
- not much left over for seat adjustments for my height (1.86m)
the positives:
- great ride and can confirm all the good stories from the professionals
- nice view over the wheels (similar to Ferrari 308/328) so easy to 'place' the wheels in corners..
- easy roof operation (although I used the roof handle on the passenger side of the car when sitting on driver side in order to get easier grip)
- cloth seats are confortable but can get warm in the sun... not sure if non perforated leather would be better though...
- reflex blue looks very nice, would have been my second choice after soul red
Some other remarks:
- no CD player for EU models
- all EU soft tops will be cloth, no vinyl versions
- base model (skymove) not recommended, no navigation, no leather steering wheel etc... better spend an extra small amount on getting skydrive or skycruise
- the 'bump' on passenger side footwell is very visible, but not a problem for someone stretching their legs.
- passenger side legroom is smaller than for driver (similar to MB SLK)
- it will be possible to change the ventilation controls and ventilation hole covers for the 'chrome' version, if you don't have them (they only come standard if you have the automatic airco)
- interestingly, the salesperson removed the stick shift lever and it was quite heavy, intended for easy shifting, so no weight saving here ![]()
- deliveries for Belgium in 2015 is limited to 275 cars, of which currently already 60 have been pre-ordered
- reception and service at Mazda center was excellent !
Since this is the first MX-5 I have driven (I was too tall for previous models), can't compare to previous versions, but found it very similar to my former Porsche Boxster in handling, which is a good thing.
So, am happy I put my order in, now waiting for fast delivery (no details yet on exact delivery dates... )!
