I think this oil measure system can only show the oil consumption in blocks of 250ml, that is why at one time it jumps from 75% to 50% between MIN and MAX.

Till the first service at 30000km it was still on MAX. Now 20000km later the level is on 75%.
It is possible that the engine starts to have oil consumption when it has more kilometers or during the service at 30000km they put some less oil in the engine as from the factory. I think when you get the Mini new there is still the oil in the engine that is filled up in the factory?!
It can also be an combination of the two things.
But even an half liter on 20000km is almost nothing.

I have mixed feelings with the electronic measurement, you get no dirty hands when you check oil level but an normal dipstick als extra would be better.

Tomorrow my wife drives our F56 JCW to her work, i just asked her to do the oil measure in our garage with flat flour when she comes home.

Liegt auch noch ein bisschen dran ob ein Panoramadach montiert ist oder nicht.

Our F56 JCW with about 52000km had the first oil change at 30000km, it was still on MAX.
We regulary checked the level and it was always on the MAX
However when i checked 500km ago the level was on 75% between MIN and MAX,
that will mean that 250ml is gone.
That is almost nothing and i didn't fill it up yet, i repeat to measure again one of these days and then fill it up when it is half the way MIN and MAX. That is 0,5liter.
I think you don't have to worry about the oil consumption, 0,5l/20000km is very less.
Only fill it up in time with the right oil.

And what Willi writes, the car must be on a 100% flatt floar.

Ich glaube unser F56 JCW von Juni 2015 hat hinten im Kofferraum 2 Augen aber weiter nicht.
Wir haben die doppelte Boden nicht mitgestellt anders hätten wir insgesamt 4 Augen soweit ich erinnern kann.
Mein alte R53 GP hat 4 Augen, finde dass doch toll um ein Netz zu montieren, nütze das Netz oft um Helm und/oder Rücksack darunter mit zu nehmen ohne das die herum fliegen.
Traurig dass Mini darauf sparen woll.
