We’ve first exclusively previewed MINI’s new 8 speed over a year ago.
Now we get the details on what is internally known as option 205. Compared to the Aisin 6 speed that MINI has used since model year 2005, this 8-speed transmission (also an Aisin) has more flexibility to match the needs of the engine and inputs of the driver, enabling more efficient, comfortable, and engaging performance.
However if you’re opting for the 8 speed there’s a mandatory option box that will need to be checked – the sport automatic transmission (Option 2TB).
The sport auto features paddle shifters on the steering wheel and an enhanced sport mode with quicker gearchanges and performance-oriented shift points.

Richtig. So wäre er fast perfekt.

der plötzliche Leistungsverlust bzw. wie du sagst Gas plötzlich weg müsste zumindest im Fehlerspeicher ersichtlich sein.
Traten das Geräusch und der Leistungsverlust gleichzeitig auf?Nein, dass sind getrennte Phänomene.

Sprich machen die grösseren Felgen den Kohl nicht fett und man kann am Works ohne Probleme 18" fahren, wenn die einem besser gefallen.
