Fitting R56 JCW Recaro Sportster CS to the F56 platform..... help?

Hi all,

I am seriously considering buying a set of R56 JCW Recaro Seats (the Sportster CS) as I love the alcantara and embroidered JCW logo...

Does anyone know what work may be involved - I am guessing the underside of the seats (mounting points) would be different to a set of 'normal' CS seats you could buy direct from Recaro?

Also, could the airbags be wired up, as I imagine the connections will be different between R56 and F56?

Would it just be easier to save the headache and buy direct from Recaro?

I think its better to order directly from Recaro. Its the saver way.
Very important if those seats are fitting/placed in the F56!!!

What is your problem about the JCW seats (2015)?
You can buy those seats separatly and can be placed in your own Cooper S. No Problemo!

Well, I think since the Sportster CS seat (semi-bucket) and the JCW seat (bolstered OEM seat) are two completely different kettles of fish I entirely understand his wish to install the Recaros.

I don't have a clue of changing the seats or how the mounts look like but in my eyes the CS is the way sportier seat and I suppose in terms of weight it is on another level than the OEM JCW chair...

Hallo zusammen,

ich muss den Thread mal ausgraben Gibt es jemand der die Recaro Sportster CS Sitze vom R56 in nen F56 gebaut hat ?!
Bzw. weiss jemand ob die passen würden ?

Bei Recaro selber gibts die Sitze mit und ohne Sitzheizung, im ETK kann ich dazu aber keine Info finden wie das bei den JCW Recaro's
aus dem Zugehör ist ?
