@ Jep über die Kante habe ich mir auch schon Gedanken gemacht. Muss mal schauen.
Ich denke mir das schwarz lackierte Radläufe mit schönen Motec Nitro oder Breyton die bündig und satt mit der Karosserie abschließen, einen gescheiten Eindruck macht.

Hallo alle zusammen,
habe vor an meinem JCW die Radläufe zu lackieren. Hat das einer von euch an seinem F56/F55 schon gemacht, bzw. kennt ihr Bilder?
Habt ihr eine Idee was sowas kostet?

B48 means only 4 cylinder Turbo. The correct name for the Cooper S is B48A20M0 and for the JCW engine B48B20O0!!
I've seen a Webpage which describes the nomenclature.
However, saying it's the same engine due to the same motor block is like saying a Mercedes A250 with 211 PS is the same engine as it is in the AMG 45 WITH 360 PS.

I would say that a lot of crap is posted here recently. I hate this type of contribution to a community/forum.
It´s a totally different statement if somebody writes that he "assumes" no significant change in the engine or he states there is no difference without any evidence or source.
@MiniSD and Janosch: based on which information you wrote that there is no difference in hardware between the S and JCW?
Beside turbomo, who already mentioned that he has seen different hardware in internal pictures, I would refer to following site...
The JCW uses a development of the 2.0-litre turbocharged unit found in the Cooper S. In that application it develops 189bhp at 4700rpm and 221lb ft of torque from 1250rpm.
Reworked pistons, a new turbocharger and higher-flow exhaust boost these figures to 228bhp at 5200-6000rpm, and 236lb ft in a plateau between 1250-4800rpm. In turn, this drops the 0-62mph sprint from 6.8 to 6.3sec for the manual JCW, while top speed climbs 6mph to 152mph.

More hardware differences as I would expect for only 39 PS more power. Therefore, I disagree and claim that we will see many differences between the Cooper S and JCW.

Hmm, muss mir dann mal überlegen ich nicht die Motec Nitro nehme. Die kosten nur die hälfte und sind sicherlich nicht schwerer.
